Structural Engineering Institute Norfolk Chapter

The Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Norfolk Chapter was established in January 2017 to bring together structural engineers in the region to share ideas and grow the practice.  Along with technical presentations on innovative structural designs, we plan to hold joint events with AIA, ULI, and AGC to further integrate structural engineers in the forefront of project development.  We will incorporate site tours and sessions designed to help study for and pass the SE Exam, and we will work with the ASCE Norfolk Branch to volunteer at events where needed.
The Norfolk Chapter is part of the national Structural Engineering Institute that was established in 1996 to “advance our members' careers, stimulates technological advancement, and improves professional practice. SEI drives the practical application of cutting edge research by improving coordination and understanding between academia and practicing engineers.”
