The Engineer’s Club of Hampton Roads held its annual banquet on February 26 at the Town Center City Club in Virginia Beach. Two Hardy Cross awards were presented that evening to Mike Barbachem and Dr. Gary Schafran. Additionally, Moffatt & Nichol was presented with the project of the year Award for the Portsmouth Marine Terminal Offshore Wind Development Project. Sean Jessup, P.E. presented an overview of the project, including the technical challenges faced during construction.
